We met Jord at my cousin Juan Diego's wedding. He sat with us in the table and it was immediate empathy. It seemed we knew each other since always, and the hope to meet again one day here in Portugal for a surf trip kept us connected. We didn't really know him well, but enough to see what a great and special person he was. His dead has taken us by surprise. We are in shock and in a state of deep sadness for the injustice that this is and for not having the chance to share a little bit more of life with him.
